Railway Recruitment Board, Bhubaneswar
Railway Service Commission, Bhubaneswar was established in the year 1983 and started its functioning from IRC Village, Nayapalli Bhubaneswar. In January, 1985 Railway Service Commission was renamed as Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). In the year 1990, the office of Railway Recruitment Board, Bhubaneswar was shifted and started functioning at Odisha Forest Development Corporation Building near Railway Station, Bhubaneswar. At present, it is functioning at D-79/80, Rail Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar since 01.06.2000.
Its Jurisdiction was Khurda Road Division, Chakradharpur Division and Macheswar Workshop of South Eastern Railway and subsequently the newly created Sambalpur Division was added to its Jurisdiction from April 1990. At present, its Jurisdiction is East Coast Railway Headquarter, Khurda Road Division, Sambalpur Division and Macheswar Workshop since 01.04.2003 after formation of newly East Coast Railway.
